THE PODCAST IS NOW AVAILABLE!!!
For some years we have been broadcasting a weekly radio
program
titled "Straight from the Bible." This radio program is fifteen
minutes in length. Almost from the first few weeks we began
thinking of how we might spend more time exploring the scriptures with
people in a more expansive and economic manner. Broadcasting is
great locally, but is limited in its scope.
Podcasting was the obvious answer. Podcasting allows us to reach anyone with access to the internet and the content is available 24/7. If you are familiar with podcasting simply subscribe to our feed. If you are a podcast neophyte continue reading.
In order to receive a podcast you need three things. A computer, a program that will let you subscribe to a podcast, and an internet connection (preferably high-speed)
I only know how to receive podcast using ITunes. ITunes is free to download and can be run on either a Mac or widows machine (I assume it comes preinstalled on Macs) . Make sure you pay attention to were you download the file to. Once download is complete install the program. After ITunes is installed run the program. Along the top text menu click "Advanced" and then select "Subscribe to Podcast.." From the drop down menu as in the picture below.
This will open a box which you can type in. Copy and paste our feed contained in upper right box. Then click ok.
Then just click the The word "Podcast" as seen in the Picture. Select in the frame to the right "Straight from the Bible" and choose "get all" to download all the back episodes.
