White Park Church of Christ
About Us
The people who meet at White Park church of Christ are tying to be
nothing more than New Testament Christians. Through years of apostasy
men have added doctrines, denominations, manuals, creeds, articles of
faith, and much more to what we find in the Scriptures. We at White Park
see to avoid the pitfalls of human wisdom and tradition, written or
otherwise, and follow the Bible and the Bible only.
At White Park we have no gimmicks
or
give always, no entertainment or food to draw in crowds, nothing but a
desire to learn more of the master who has done that which is necessary
to draw people unto him. (cf. John 6:44-45). Christ did
not die so that the church could be a place that you and I might be
entertained, or even fed. His church is a spiritual house and has a
spiritual purpose. (cf. I Pet. 2:5)
At White Park we are dedicated to understanding and conforming to the
will of God. Christ said, "If ye love me, keep my commandments." (John
14:15) We are striving to show our love for God by doing that
which He has asked of us. If you love the Lord and want to study His
will, not man's, we welcome you to join us.
